Time to relax after Christmas....

We headed up to Cottonwood after Christmas. The weather was cold with beautiful clouds. We arrived to camp and noticed the park was empty including our friends were gone. We miss them very much. We did notice that our trash can lid was under our mat and the trash can was turned over. Rodney and Dennis Polaris cover was blown off and the tall heater was laying on the ground. Our neighbor came out and told us they had 45-50 miles winds come through camp on Christmas night. We were lucky nothing else happened.

We came in to relax and watch some new movies we got for Christmas. Unfortantly our DVD player died. After the boys arrived to camp we headed for WalMart. The we headed to Radio Shack and bought a new surround sound system. Ron hooked it up and we were ready to go. Rodney and Dennis came over and we all had dinner together and relaxed.

Saturday morning we watched a the movie 21. It was about college kids playing the tables in Las Vegas. It was a enjoyable movie. After the movie we went to town to the local Mexican Bakery in downtown Cottonwood. We bought some breakfast bread, and cookies. Then we watched another movie called Saints and Soldiers. I was listening all of sudden I heard Snowflake. Snowflake is not to far away from where we go in the Overgaard, AZ.

Sunday morning was extremely cold. The temperature was 18 degree's. We took a walk before leaving camp this morning. We headed down to A section. They had left the water running all night and there was ice sculptures around the trees.

Upon leaving camp I noticed a gopher was very busy digging his hole. Cheye loved smelling in the gopher holes while she was at camp. We thought of Cheye wanting to see what a gopher looked like. I thought I would show you a clip of the gopher hard at work. I am having problem up loading the video. I will try again tomorrow..You will have to stay tune to see the gopher at work.
