A lot has happened.......

It has been two weeks since I have blogged. The whole city has Cardinal Fever for the last two weeks. Every where you would go you would see someone in a Cardinal jersey. Today I went to the grocery store and everyone was in Cardinal shirts. Today we watched the Super Bowl with Rodney and the girls. We had high hopes today at the end when they got a touch down. You could hear the whole neighborhood when they did the last touchdown. We were all very disappointed with the final score of the game. Cardinals just did not play very good defense today. We still are proud of them going to the SUPER BOWL. GO CARDINALS.....

The last several weekends Ron and I on Saturday have taken off with Rodney, Lyn and Dan and gone for a Polaris ride. We have discovered some good riding. Some of the mountains are straight up with rock and loose dirt. Ron loves climbing this one mountain that uses all of his skills to drive up. When you get to the top it is not very big and not much room. Last weekend we asked Chris our neighbor to join us. He has a brand new beautiful shiny red Polaris. His young daughter Mia went along. When we got home his polaris was not so shiny, but Chris had a big smile and Mia was happy. We had another fun ride.

Both of the girls are doing great. Carlie for the last two weeks has been working in Lake Havasu as a hearing dispenser and enjoying working as a dispenser. She does not even mind the drive. She called me last week complaining about patients and how they are rude and demanding. I had to laugh. All these years she did not understand why I would complain about patients. She has experienced if first hand.

Taylor is loving ROTC. She had made some great new friends and has gotten involved. She has signed up to learn how to carry the American Flag. If she passes the test she will be one of the ROTC that marches at ball games and other public demonstrations. She is really enjoying she herself. I think she has finally found something that makes her happy. We are very proud of her.

Ron and I are excite to us the motor home next weekend. We are excited to sleep on our new mattress next weekend. The next few weeks are filled with some special times. In two weeks from today my cousin Kathy and her husband are coming out to Phoenix for a week. I am excited to see her since we had not seen each other for 24 years. We have a lot to caught up on.

I love being 50 years old..........
