Jim and Nancy called the other week informing they were coming down to Phoenix to see some Spring training games. Nancy wanted to know if Desert Edge RV Park was close to our house. Yes, the park is right next store to where we store our coach.
We decided to go and surprise them for the weekend. Ron pulled in and I followed behind and paid. We arrived around 4:30 p. We quietly set up camp since we were only three stalls away from them. I could here Jim talking to Nancy. After we were done we went down to see how we would be received.
We knotted on the door and no one answered. We left and came back again still no answer. We went back the third time. Nancy was sitting outside relaxing. She took one look and Ron and was excited to see us. I guess you could say we were received with a positive response.
The conversation never stopped. Carlie stopped by to say hello. We BBQ some chicken which was delicious, zucchini, salad.
Saturday morning we went over to there camp and sat around the campfire and had breakfast at the clubhouse. Then we all went over to our house. The guys took out the Polaris and we went shopping. Jim had to check his shorts a couple of times. He had a blast.
We sat around on Saturday and had some wine with cheese and cracker. Dinner we had some Rib Eye's, broccoli, mushrooms.
We enjoyed camping just across the freeway with Jim and Nancy. We enjoyed our weekend away from home even through we were across the freeway.
