Valentine Day Polaris Ride

This morning Rodney txt me and asked if we wanted to go for a Polaris ride. We all got ready and headed out around noon. Dennis and RD were in the Joyner, Rodney and Lyn in there Polaris, and we were following out of our development.

We took off to our regular path a few minutes away from our house. Upon arriving to the entrance we notice they put the fence back up. Ron and I lead off and rode along the fence. We went up and on the other side of the freeway overpass. Still the fence had no opening we kept on driving. Around the corner of the freeway there was another couple looking puzzled and looking at the gate entrance of the fence.

Ron started talking to him. Informed it was held together with wire. We did not see a NO TRESPASSING SIGN. Ron got out opened up the fence and all us followed through the fence.

The other couple joined up for a terrific ride. Dennis was in the lead and heading right to the big mountain. We all arrived and off Ron and I went up the mountain. Everyone else was sitting down at the bottom of the mountain. I think they though we all nuts. They all drove around the back side of the mountain. Ron and I were sitting at the top. Off Dennis and RD went up the other side. The Joyner cut out and Dennis back down the mountain.Dennis did a good job controlling the Joyner. Next I noticed he was sitting on his side with RD handing out of the side of the Joyner. Rodney and Randy came up and put pressure on the Joyner. Dennis was able to get the Joyner down safe and sound.

We all took off and drove up and down some terrain that was fun. Ron lead up this one mountain that was a little difficult. Lyn informed everyone she like going up but did not like coming down. We introduced ourselves to our new friends. Randy and Cari. They won there Polaris from radio station. There Polaris is a six seater, row bar with a stereo. The six of us had a total blast today riding.

Headed back home after riding three hours. Just before we got to the fence we noticed a DPS cops was sitting at the top of the over pass. We sat there for a few minutes. Ron and I need to get home because me had some guest waiting at home for us. We all took off. Ron opened up the gate and everyone drove through. Dennis took off leading the pack of us with Randy pulling up the rear.

Down the road we drove and the DPS cop never took off after us. Saved again by the bell. Randy and Cari came to our homes to exchanged phone numbers. We will keep in contact with them to go riding again.

It was relaxing day today we saw Jackie Winkler, Bud, Marge and my dad for an hour. Carile and Amber came home for an hour after shopping. We enjoyed there visit.

We had a great Valentine's day. Our Valentine's gift for each other is we upgraded our Thousand Trails membership to PLATINUM.
